We are gearing up for the end of the year! I know, I know…it’s September already! But this is the time to think about that last-minute dash. How aligned are you with your (and your company's) 2011 goals & objectives? What needs to happen before the end of the year to get you there? What is left in the budget that you need to spend wisely? How are you planning for next year’s goals & objectives – and how do you plan on engaging your team in the process? But most importantly (and yes, this is a serious question) – how are you planning to celebrate the end of the year? Assuming your team deserves a pat on the back – what are you going to do to make sure they get one? This does not mean an elaborate party – but it does mean recognizing hard work, triumphs and even set-backs (this is where next year’s planning comes in). Don’t forget kudos all the way down the line! Every person in every position helps your organization GOFORWARD.
